Prof Roger Webb
Prof Roger Webb is responsible for modeling the ion beam implantation of clusters into silicon, such Bi2 and those containing both Bi and P under Project 1.
Roger is Director of the Surrey Ion Beam Centre (SIBC), an EPSRC National Facility. He has run this facility (15 staff) since 2004 and has developed a portfolio of funding to support it including £6M from the EU, £1.2 from Wolfson Foundation and over £12M from EPSRC. He is a Board member of the British Accelerator Science and Radiation Oncology Consortium and is on the editorial board of several international journals in the field of ion beam solid interactions. He is the chair of the International Committee of the COSIRES conference series and is a member of the International Committees of three other conference series.
